About this webinar
Local leaders are being asked to deliver growth and prove it. But without a consistent measure, comparing your area with its neighbours or the UK means relying on patchy surveys and lagging stats.
The Local Growth Index changes that. It scores every UK local authority on innovation, scaling, investment and ESG against a fixed benchmark where the UK scores 1,000. It's built from c.4.9m active UK companies, not surveys, and refreshed every month.
In 40 minutes, Callum will show you how the index is built and what the first results reveal: which areas are performing strongly, where distinctive patterns of business strength are emerging and what that means for local business ecosystems and regional growth.
You'll also see how to read the numbers for your own area, so you leave knowing where you stand and what's driving it.
This is the only Local Growth Briefing that goes deep on methodology. If you plan to use the index in reports or plans, start here.
