Willkommen to our new German data
New country, same Beauhurst quality. Natürlich.
Beauhurst is going international. After 14 years in the business, we know UK company data — and now we’re applying that expertise to Europe’s largest economy: Germany.
Now, our customers have access to both private company data for the UK and Germany.
What our new international data looks like
Registry information
Our dataset covers 2.80m German companies. So, just like in the UK, you can find companies in cities that have increased headcount by 10% in the last year. Or you can use our intricate corporate trees to find the ultimate beneficial owner of German companies of interest — there’s so much you can do with our extensive registry information.
Digital footprints
With 350k company websites and over 100k social media accounts linked, you have a full view of how businesses are positioning themselves online. And with easy access to company LinkedIn profiles, you can easily dive deeper into research and gain valuable insights into each business.
Company descriptions and classifications
Our dataset includes over 343k company descriptions, so you’ll know exactly what a company does, without lengthy research. And when it comes to our industry classifications and buzzwords we use a rigorous two-step process to ensure they’re always accurate and up to date.
Fundraising data
We have details on 1,431 fundraisings in Germany and counting — and offer access to both equity and debt transactional data. So you can find growing and emerging businesses in Germany, as well as who’s backing them. See when funding happened, the amount, and the investors. And keep an eye on your competitors or your portfolio.
And there's more to come
Why Germany?
To us, Germany seemed like an obvious choice.
“Not only does it have the largest economy in Europe, Germany has a strong industrial space and lots of R&D is being driven out there. There’s also a decent level of availability of registry data like the UK, though the register is difficult to use.” Chynna Brenham, Data Strategy Manager.
Germany offers a major opportunity for businesses and investors, and we’re here to help you unlock it.
With 123,564 new incorporations in 2024 so far—already surpassing 2023’s total—Germany is on track for record-breaking growth. Learn more in our exclusive report, Starting up in Germany: Trends in German Business Incorporations, and be among the first to approach new clients in Europe’s economic powerhouse.
Starting up in Germany
Take a look at the German startup market — and understand exactly how you can start putting our new international data to use.
What’s next?
Germany is just the start. Now, we’re looking to expand our coverage and bring the same level of high-quality data to other key markets.
Chynna Brenham explains further:
“Ultimately, our plan is to collect more data in Germany and then eye up our next country. We’re striving to collect transactions and events on all German companies next year. It’s still TBC what we do beyond this point for Germany — as always, we’re using client feedback to inform where we go next. ”
