We’re pleased to have worked with EY on the second annual Fast Growth Tracker, a survey of the UK’s leading entrepreneurs and founders. 380 respondents revealed some fascinating insights into their views on the high-growth ecosystem and the issues they face. Download the full report here.
Key findings
- While the surveyed companies are young, with 59% of them under five years old, over 51% expect to grow their revenues by 50% or more this year, and 43% are looking to grow their headcount by 10 or more.
- Startup founders and entrepreneurs have strong appetite for funding. 66% expect to raise capital in the next 12 months, and 70% of these companies are looking for over £1m.
- 53% of surveyed entrepreneurs are planning to exit to an international acquirer, with 67% expecting to do so within the next 5 years.
- Entrepreneurs consider access to funding and talent shortage the most critical barriers to growth.
